Mechanism: It relies on an electronic solenoid drop bolt combined with a magnetic induction system. The lock body senses when the matching magnetic bracket plate is aligned directly underneath it, triggering the heavy steel bolt to throw down and lock the door automatically This model operates as a fail-safe device, meaning it requires continuous power to remain locked. If the power cuts out or is disabled by an emergency system, the bolt automatically retracts to ensure safe egress. Built-in Time Delay: It features adjustable delay jumpers/switches (usually options for 0, 3, 6, or 9 seconds) to prevent the bolt from throwing before the door has completely stopped swinging.
